I'm just trying to find out what everyone here is experiencing with white space trim functionality? We reported this: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/XMLBEANS-295 It's a tough issue because this behaviour occurs more frequently in our UNIX production environment and is not always replicatable on our test and dev systems (UNIX / Windows XP). Our sense also is that the real solution is deeper - as suggested in our bug report 295. And we are aware of the patch here: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/XMLBEANS-274 However - we'd like to understand what everyone else has experienced with this?
