Hi all, I'm new to this list but have been working with XML Beans for a few years now. Lately I have been working with using MBeans for configuration purposes. Where I work, all our J2EE apps use XML files for configuration purposes. MBeans provides a way to modify the configuration of an application. The configuration changes generally need to be persisted, so my MBeans need to be able to update the XML Config file. This is where XML Beans comes in handy, but I also believe that the XMLBean generator could be used to generate MBeans used to modify XML files. So I'm just wondering if people think this is a stupid idea, or if not, would this be something that is separate to the XMLBeans project or any pointers as to where in the XMLBeans source I should look to modify the generated classes would be appreciated.
