Hi everyone, I'm not sure if you all have seen this but I do in my community. As you know StarRocks is OLAP database that competes with Trino and Snowflake. One of the issues my users are having is that they're delta lake users or just generate iceberg on a file system or have hudi files in hdfs without HMS. In many cases, they can't seem to figure out how to register open table format files into HMS. I was able to do this through Spark SQL manually. Is this a use case that Apache xTable should address (open table format file registration to HMS beyond just converting the metadata)?
