Hi all,

PR #882 makes the maven-build-cache-extension entry actually survive a CI
run, keeps the three shaded modules out of it (1.17 GB of a 1.2 GB
generation), and gives ~/.m2/repository a single writer instead of two jobs
racing for the same key.

Both questions from the last review round are answered and pushed: how the
cache is invalidated across branches, and whether failsafe needs the same
reconciliation config as surefire. The failsafe one turned out to be a
genuine gap and is fixed. Nothing outstanding on my side, CI is green.

Another pass from anyone familiar with the CI setup would be welcome.
Reviewing commit-by-commit is easier than as a single diff.

Thanks,
Sylwester
