Hi Craig, A couple of housekeeping remarks: - Reference to the keys file MUST only point to the download area [1] We MUST not store a KEYS file anywhere but there. This is an Apache requirement. - The versions page [2] is only accessible to an authenticated jira user. It is more inclusive to use a publicly available search link [3]. This same public link should be used in the announcement. You cannot expect people reading the announcement to login to jira to see what was fixed.
Beside those housekeeping comments: +1 Checked the following: * no unexpected binaries or files * signature confirmed * hash confirmed * build from source * startup and run the tests * deployed into kind 1.22.4 using helm charts and local build * checked REST calls: logLevel, healthcheck, and statedump * checked Web UI Wilfred [1] https://downloads.apache.org/incubator/yunikorn/KEYS [2] https://issues.apache.org/jira/projects/YUNIKORN/versions/12351233 [3] https://issues.apache.org/jira/issues/?filter=12351270 On Thu, 13 Jan 2022 at 08:22, Craig Condit <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hello everyone, > > I’d like to call a vote for a release candidate for Apache YuniKorn > (incubating) 0.12.2 release. > > The release artifacts have been uploaded here: > https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/incubator/yunikorn/0.12.2/ > <https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/incubator/yunikorn/0.12.2/> > > My public key is located here: > https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/release/incubator/yunikorn/KEYS > <https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/release/incubator/yunikorn/KEYS> > > The release has been tagged with “v0.12.2-1” in all our git repositories. > After release is finalized, it will be retagged v0.12.2 per the new tagging > process outlined in https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/YUNIKORN-1004 > <https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/YUNIKORN-1004>. > > The JIRA issues that have been resolved in this release can be found here: > https://issues.apache.org/jira/projects/YUNIKORN/versions/12351233 > <https://issues.apache.org/jira/projects/YUNIKORN/versions/12351233> > > Please review and vote.
