Now that we are really close to getting v1.1 out it is time to look forward to v1.2 and beyond. The release v1.1 has been focussed on ARM builds and stability for recovery and the REST interface. The release v1.2 is going into the direction of enhancing quota tracking and enforcement. The current work that is already in progress is: * maxRunningApplications for queues (YUNIKORN-790) * generic resources for dynamic queues (YUNIKORN-1275) * user usage tracking (design doc released)
User based usage tracking will have a follow up with enforcement, design doc for that is in progress. There is more room to add new things into v1.2. The scope does not have to be limited to the above. We also started looking at a design for an overall YuniKorn configuration. That should be picked back up again. There are some smaller fixes and enhancements being worked on, like exposing more details in the REST api around reservations, plenty of scope left for things like that. We do not have to list each jira but if there are other larger pieces that people would like to work on it would be nice to add them to the roadmap. I will create a jira to update the roadmap with the new points when we have finalised the discussion here.
