The choice of {...} for identifying parameter/variable names comes from the
parent issue
[ZEPPELIN-1967](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ZEPPELIN-1967). Though
#{...} seems more widely used in other settings and languages, I have no
opinion in the matter, and would like to request the original issue's author
@Tagar to offer any comments. Thanks for your ideas and help with this.
