Using macOS, this mostly happens to me on Firefox and barely ever on Chrome and
Safari.
On Firefox it is pretty easy to reproduce.
How to reproduce:
# Start Zeppelin with some revision-supported notebook storage (I used the
official docker image which by default uses a git repo)
# Login if needed and open any existing note
# The revision controls are visible
# Refresh the page
# More often than not - the controls are now hidden
