I just did the following
* Create a new note and wait until it is opened
* In the first paragraph type "%spark"
* Make Zeppelin server inaccessible. I have just turned off our VPN, but
disconnecting WiFi will also work.
* In the paragraph, type "print("hi")"
* Wait until the top-right dot becomes red
* Restore connectivity
* Wait until the top-right dot becomes green
Expected effect: my content stays in place
Observed effect: the paragraph reverts to just "%spark".
While it sounds like rare, contrived case, with 50+ active users it hits
somebody on a daily basis.
