I guess there is a typo:
val rddCaseClass:RDD[(String,String,Int)] =
sc.parallelize(List(Person("jdoe","John DOE",32),Person("hsue","Helen SUE",27))
Should be:
val rddCaseClass:RDD[(Person)] =
sc.parallelize(List(Person("jdoe","John DOE",32),Person("hsue","Helen SUE",27))
