@bzz Actually your comment was in favor of per paragraph button.
Hotkey is way faster indeed, and thanks to auto save feature, you will
rarely save using the button. The button could be seen as an indicator that
this paragrah is not saved yet (since its only there when changes exist) And
you need an indicator on each paragraph.
