At the moment in one Notebook you can bind only ONE instance of a given interpreter. E.g. you can't use MyDB and OtherDB in the same Notebook. This is a known Zeppelin limitation.
If you have selected and bound multiple instances (UI doesn't prevent you from doing it) then i guess the first in the list will be picked. - Christian On 25 August 2015 at 09:57, IT CTO <[email protected]> wrote: > Following the discussion about the re-bind of an interpreter to a notebook > and paragraph I was thinking that we should add something like a prompt to > a paragraph. > main reason is to be able to present to the use the "setting" in which he > is working. > e.g. I have two JDBC settings - one for MyDB and the other for "OtherDB" - > sine the interpreter is the same how would I know in the paragraph which > one I am bounded to? > > with this feature a user can define his prompt for example > [intepreterName]-[someProperty]$ > very similar to BASH prompt > > Ideas? comments are welcome... > Eran > -- Christian Tzolov <http://www.linkedin.com/in/tzolov> | Solution Architect, EMEA Practice Team | Pivotal <http://pivotal.io/> [email protected]|+31610285517
