No, I don't think the posted links should be edited, but the redirect should be fixed to work.
Why is the single rule not sufficient?? qi4j.org/* -> zest.apache.org/java/* <http://zest.apache.org/*> zest.apache.org/java/ is currently redirecting to zest.apache.org/java/latest/ , and I am ok that there is a pop-up redirect page, but I think it can be fixed with .htaccess files.
