Our code base is a little tricky to unit test and also needs fixing to be able
to maintainable long term. We should make our components DI compliant, so that
they are easier to test and maintainable in the long term. This is just an
umbrella jira, I am sure we will need a huge code churn to be able to achieve
this goal.
