Binary Jar in zookeeper-3.3.4 displays wrong version when run

When you start up zookeeper using the jar in zookeeper-3.3.4.tar.gz, it prints
a 3.3.3 version string:
server.ZooKeeperServer - Server environment:zookeeper.version=3.3.3-1203054,
built on 11/17/2011 05:47 GMT
server.ZooKeeperServer - Server
environment:java.class.path=/usr/lib/zookeeper/apache-rat-tasks-0.6.jar:/usr/lib/zookeeper/commons-lang-2.4.jar:/usr/lib/zookeeper/commons-cli-1.1.jar:/usr/lib/zookeeper/log4j-1.2.15.jar:/usr/lib/zookeeper/commons-collections-3.2.jar:/usr/lib/zookeeper/apache-rat-core-0.6.jar:/usr/lib/zookeeper/jline-0.9.94.jar:/usr/lib/zookeeper/zookeeper-3.3.4.jar:/etc/zookeeper
I assume this is due to a build problem of some form. (Rebuilding the jar from
the tarball fixes the version).
