Hi,

I am currently facing an issue with zookeeper restart. Version used is
3.4.3

Following is the scenario.

While setting the currentEpoch or acceptedEpoch to file, the zookeeper
process was abruptly killed.

This lead to an empty file being left under the dataDir (acceptedEpoch or
currentEpoch).

On zookeeper restart it fails indicating that null was found in the file.

Is this case to be handled.

What would be the suggested mechanism to recover from this error. Removing
the file will allow startup to proceed assuming 0 as default value but there
is a log message indicating that this should happen only in upgrade.

Thanks,

Suja
