And now we have a ticket about it: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ZOOKEEPER-4912 Let's remove them and rather move them to the docs as recommendations for Java 8 and Java 9 versions. We should use system-wide defaults of the JVM while at the same time letting the user to override in ZK config or system property. Andor
