Hmm... The problem is that you would need to intercept download URLs to log the information. Jahia uses the Slide Webdav servlet and I don't believe it logs the downloads. You will probably have to look into the code to add a "logging" event when a user accesses a file.
As for storing the download information, there is no such storage information. The logging system is something that we are looking contributors for, as it could be greatly improved.
