Pfft! Jrmie,

Are you doing it on purpose? You can NOT just load balanced some Tomcats in order to load-balanced Jahia. There are several other issues to deal with (e.g. how the caches will be synchronized if you update a content on one server? How the second server's caches will know it and will flush the cache accordingly?).

We documented how to load balance some Jahia servers here: http://www.jahia.org/jahia/Jahia/devzone/doc/pid/443
and it is clearly mentionned that this feature is still UNDER TESTING right now.

Hello,

I make my site work (thanks a lot to all of you who helped me!!). The site is loadbalanced between to hosts running Tomcat and my front web server is on a third host running Apache.
The site works well on the two Tomcat based hosts
(http://myhost1:myport/jahia/Jahia, http://myhost2:myport/jahia/Jahia) but I encounter several issues on the Apache (http://myurl/jahia/Jahia):

-when I log in, the administration menu does not appear (if I give a wrong user/password I get the common error message)
-when I try to add content, I sometimes get the message "Your session has expired" and then my content is not added and a lock is put on my container
-if I finally achieve to add content, I cannot add more content in the same container because a lock is put on it (what does not happen on my other hosts)

I know that my front web is using a read-only file system. Can that be the cause of my issues? If yes, how can I deal with it, if yes do you have any idea of where my errors can come from?

Thanks,
Jrmie
