Hi All,

We're evaluating Jahia for use in a portal project, and I have noticed some slight abnormalities, and am wondering if other developers are getting the same problems.

Some background: I've written a little servlet that doles out a random image from a webdav folder for each page load. To achieve this, I've had to create a duplicate of the layout.jsp template and stick some extra cache invalidation / no-cache code. I have to invalidate the webapp output cache otherwise the servlet only gets called once - ergo no rotating images - just the first image.

The problem arrises when a user adds pictures to the slide repo. If I upload a bunch of files, say, some .gif and .jpg's and then go to the edit view - some of the files are missing. Switching back to the "Update" engine for the filemanager might show all the files, or it might decide to not display a couple of them. Switching back the preview, you get a different list of files (sometimes you even get an entry with no file link, but an icon). Obviously this is undesirable behaviour.

It seems to be quite inconsistent. Any ideas? I'll have another bash at it today and see if I can get reproducable results to post back to this list.
