Which version of Jahia are you using? Have you activated Tidy ("HTML Cleanup with Tidy") AND the "Markup filtering" checkbox in the Administration? Be sure to save your settings with the save button. Then it should work.

I've tried to use the markup filtering option in the administration menu, but it seems that it has no effect on text entered via the "simple text" editor (if I add B to the markups to remove and enter "<B>Hello</B>" , Hello will be displayed in bold).
So I was wondering if there was an easy way to do it, or if I will have to modify some jsp/java class in order to look for html tag and remove them ? Are small_textfield.jsp and big_textfield.jsp the files I should modify to parse the content (ie are they included in the other jsps)?
