First of all I am not able to set the permission properly, so that a specific group is able to edit the "Source" and "Type" entries. It seems that the permissions set to the page are ignored. Setting the permission of parent containers did not help either. Only the administrative user is able to edit Source and Type, preventing content admins to enter information.
Where do I have to set those permissions?
The "Source" and "Type" containerlist are defined on the home page of your site. So you need to have the wrtie/manage permission on the home page of your site in order to update them. Of course you may change that in the template if you want to adjust such settings to your site.
Second sorting the docuemnts in the Document Listing template does not
work. If I enter the properties dialog and use any type of sorting the content is
sorted properly within the dialog but the order of the documents in the template
itself is not affected.
The sort of the list should be forced in the templates. Please check in the template if there is such an hardcoded sort.
