Hello,

Thanks for this response. Concerning the eventlistener, how can I implement
this simply for a Jahia demo for a client ?
The chapter 20 "Event Listeners" is empty in the Jahia Template developer
Guide.
I have seen in a mail from dev_list :" we added the possibility to use a JSP
as a "scripting" technology, to handle custom
event handling."

Thanks,
Dominique Pellat

Hello,

Currently you may use an eventlisterer on the containers you want to
"monitor" so that each time they change, they generate some actions on
another page (aka displaying some kind of "history entry"). You may also
create a last modified date on each of your content object (cf. doc_listing
template). You may then use the search engine in order to filter the
results according to the status of this field (= search * of what was
modified the xx/xx/2004).

Else in the next release (not 4.0.5 but 4.1) we will add the notion of
metadata. So each object of content will automaitcally inherit of standard
metadat such as author, validator, date of last modification, date of
validation, etc... So this will become more easy to retreive then all the
objects which were modified based on a kind of "advanced search" form.

Cheers
Stphane
