Hi all!

the all screens contain the line "Powered by JForum 1.0 CVS". Is this just
an error due to a not updated hardcoded string, or do I have not the latest
version of Jahia-JForum?

Yes just a typo. This was based on the December version of JForum.

installation is not like the screenshots that are on Jahia.org's portlet
repository. E.g. I do not have those pretty blue table headers like in the
screenshots.

which set of templates are you using... Should be a problem of CSS. Should be fine with the default Jahia templates (Jahia 4.0.5 required).

-- within the Jahia JForum DB schema definition files, there are some table
defintions that seem to be concerned with voting or ranking of forum users.
But I have not found any corresponding functionality e.g. links or buttons
in the Jahia JForum GUI. should the ranking/voting be already working?

Should be something under development. Please check the Jforum.net page for all questions regarding the Jforum features. We only did the integration with Jahia (+ a JSR168 compliant version of it).

-- Single sign on: works quite well. But when I log on to the Jahia
platform I still have to click once on to the "Login" link of the portlet.
Is this the standard behaviour for Jahia portlet SSO, or can I ged rid of
this extra click somehow?

That's a workaround we did to automatically login the current Jahia user (and if it is the first time he uses the forum to automatically create a new Jforum login/pwd). But perhaps we can do it in one single shot.... To be studied... ;-)
