Well if you can get it to comply with the Servlet API, which is the basic requirements for integrating into Jahia, then maybe.
Another solution would be to use Jahia 4.5 from CVS that integrates with Jetspeed 2 (which itself provides the JSR-168 Portlet API implementation), giving you a "standard" API for portlets.
