1 The system shall remind the editor if an article or (draft mode) is not published within a specified time (mail?).
You should be able to currently do it within the JSP templates for the content you want to watch by adding some line of code to use the scheduling library packaged with Jahia (Quartz Scheduler : http://www.opensymphony.com/quartz/)
In the next Jahia 4.5, there will be a full integration with the Sense Business Processing Server, so you will also be able to use it in order to launch such "watching" workflows.
2 The editor shall be able to decide a period, start and stop date/time, when an article will be published.
Will be included in Jahia 4.5
3 The system shall notify the editor on the last day for publication (mail?).
Should be doable through an event listener in Jahia 4.5 (cf above).
4 The editor shall be able to save, compare and search on all versions of his/hers published articles.
Could you be a bit more precise on exactly what you want to do ("save, compare and search on all versions of his/hers published articles" = ???)?
5 The editor shall automatically be the owner of an article and be the only one with change right. The ownership can be given away to another editor.
For the moment there is no notion of "owner" in Jahia. To ease permissions maintenance, all the system is based on inheritance of rights. So every users with some "read, write, admin" rights privileges on the home page will automatically get such rights for content objects under this point on the sitemap (at the exception of inheritance permanent breakpoints).
So we may add an "owner" role but such a notion would need to be detailled more precisely. I think such a role would be useulf for Jahia 5.0 which will add some "content explorer" views (view all the content not in an "on-the-page-edit-mode" but filtered by matadata, versions, etc... But we do not plan to add such a mode before Jahia 5.0.
6 The articles shall be automatically saved in some sort of archive.
??? All the content is already versioned.
If you only want to display the last 5 articles on the home page and all the former article on an archive page, this is already possible (cf. JSP taglibs) but has nothing to do with a CMS notion of "archive" as this is live content (vs deleted versioned content).
