Ah yes another option (in Jahia 4.0 or 4.1) would be to add a new metadata field author in your content objects (cf: document_listing template) and then filter the display of such objects in edit mode according to the value of this field... I do not know if this will work but perhaps a more easy solution which will not require to modify the permissions on the fly but just to filter content in edit mode according to the current logued user... In Jahia 4.5, such a metadata will be in all the cases available on each content object without you needing to make a custom event listener.

Hi,
If I understand correctly you want to hide draft content from other authors having wrtie or admin permissions on the same page (and thus having the legitimate right to access to such content in edit mode)?
If you really want to make that from an automatic manner, you may perhaps try to create two event listeners. The first one catching the event of a new container on a page and automatically setting the ACL permissions for all users to none excepted for the current user. And a second one after the workflow to reset the default inheritance mechanism on this object.

Hi!
We have a customer that want users to be able to hide content from other users until it is published.
They also want the secret state to be visible for the author. Does anyone implemented this feature?
I understand that a user can change (take away) read right for the content and then switch back when publishing.
