The developer skills are not a problem ;-)

I'd just like to know if Jahia.com is the "official editor" of these portlets, and in this case, if they are included if your development cycle as Jahia does, and so be able to rely on frequently corrections and versions ?

Yes, Jahia.com is the "Initial Contributor". However these webapps follow a distinct separated process and life cycle. To be honest, we focus our time on the Jahia CMS and Portal Server. Webapps/Portlets are considered as "extensions" and were developed for such or such customers and packaged as examples of portlets we can develop with Jahia.

In your answer, I can understand that portlet haven't the same status as Jahia. So can we get the source code and modify as we want and distribute as part of our service prestation ?

Just discussed this point and we decided to release these webapps under the CDDL license ( http://www.sun.com/cddl/). They are currently released under the Collaborative Source license but as they are free (as mentionne don the download portlets page), this does not make any sense. So if you want to redistribute them, feel free to do it but please respect the term of the CDDL. We will impact these changes online tomorrow.

Cheers,
Stéphane

Best regards...

Thanks for the bug report but please enter a JIRA
bug request for that (www.jahia.org/jira) so that
we can track and keep a list of all open bugs.

Regarding webapps they are not maintained as
acitvely as the Jahia core framework but we
sometimes spend some times to bug fixes all the
open bugs. But these are quite lightweight
servlet so it sould'nt be very difficult to
correct yourself if you have some developer
skills such a bug if you urgently need a patch.

Cheers,
Stéphane
