Did youi try to run maven directly from /core directory? it seems that the locator.ent in / use an old version (M3) of jetspeed.

Okay, I found the mail archive message about maven.jahia.org. I've tried a couple variations on the name of the jahia artifact repository, but it doesn't find the jetspeed jars.
