It is the editor that rewrites the relative URL into an absolute URL, then the Engine will remove some parts of the link to only keep the pid and the language. If you check out your BigText data on the permanent storage, you will see that you have a marker then followed by the relative URL. In other words, your link is not saved in the database or disk as a full absolute URL, but only the necessary information to point out to the correct jahia page. Of course, for external links, the system will keep the full absolute URL.
What kind of problems do you have with the rewriting of the URLs ? It is just a manner of presenting the data implemented by FCK editor. Even if you save your full absolute URL, as long as you point to a jahia page, the URL will be rewritten into a relative URL.
Example:
Let's say the current language is English, then if:
you submit: href="" href="http://localhost:8080/lang/en/pid/34" eudora="autourl"> http://localhost:8080/lang/en/pid/34" -> in the storage system: href=""> you submit: href="" -> in the storage system: href=""> you submit: href="" -> in the sorage system: href="">
etc.... The BIgText engine now does some processing with all jahia urls to jahia pages.

Hi all
I cannot create relative links in the WYSIWYG editor without having the system change it to a fixed URL link. For instance, I enter a link to a PID page <a href="" and hit apply or save. When I re-open the editor or just flip back to the HTML code, the link is changed to: <a href="" The same thing happens when I enter the Apache alias.
Is there an easy way to fix this problem? Or will I have to integrate another inline text editor?
Cheers
Bojana
