Boston Summit 2007 ================== The 7th Boston Summit will be held on Columbus Day Long Weekend (October 6-8) in Boston at the Royal Sonesta Hotel <http://www.sonesta.com/boston>.
NOTE: Although there has been some information about the Summit available on the wiki and website, as a result of an uncomfortably mistimed venue cancellation and resulting chaos, this is the first official announcement of the Summit. Our sincere apologies to those of you who would have come, but are unable to as a result. The Boston Summit is a three-day hackfest for GNOME developers and contributors. It is not primarily aimed at users or new contributors, but if you want to jump right into the deep end, it's a fantastic way to meet everyone and get involved. Unlike traditional conferences, the Boston Summit is all about getting developers together and getting things done. While there are some non-hacking sessions, they are geared heavily towards many-to-many, interactive discussion and planning, rather than one-to-many presentations. For more information, including unconference-style wiki scheduling, please see the Boston Summit 2007 wiki page: http://live.gnome.org/Boston2007 See you there! - Jeff -- Boston Summit 2007 http://live.gnome.org/Boston2007 -- devel-announce-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/devel-announce-list
