[Very short summary if you only read the mail quickly: tarballs are due, hard code freeze starts on Monday evening, and please make sure to release a tarball if you have changes in git]
Dear friends, In case you were not in full GNOME 3.0 mode yet, we'll be helping you a bit :-) With GNOME 2.31.92 coming next week, we're entering the hard code freeze: it means that no code change can be made without approval from the release team after Monday. Still, we ask you to make sure to release a tarball for 2.31.92 if you have change in git, since this is our last chance to test them before the stable release. Tarballs are due on Monday September 13th before 23:59 UTC for the GNOME 2.32.0 Release Candidate (2.31.92), which will be delivered on Wednesday. Please make sure that your tarballs will be uploaded before Monday 23:59 UTC: tarballs uploaded later than that will probably be too late to get in 2.31.92. If you are not able to make a tarball before this deadline or if you think you'll be late, please send a mail to the release team and we'll find someone to roll the tarball for you! For more information about 2.31, the full schedule and the official module lists, please see our colorful 2.31 page on the wiki: http://www.gnome.org/start/unstable For a quick overview of the GNOME schedule, please see: http://live.gnome.org/Schedule Thanks, Vincent -- Les gens heureux ne sont pas pressés. -- devel-announce-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/devel-announce-list
