Wiki - https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/php_no_32_bit

This is a proposed Change for Fedora Linux.
This document represents a proposed Change. As part of the Changes
process, proposals are publicly announced in order to receive
community feedback. This proposal will only be implemented if approved
by the Fedora Engineering Steering Committee.

== Summary ==
Drop support for 32-bit builds

== Owner ==
* Name: [[User:Remi| Remi Collet]] and [[SIGs/PHP|PHP SIG]]
* Email: remi at fedoraproject dot org

== Detailed Description ==
PHP is not a library, so is not multilib.
32-bit consumes builder CPU/time, but nothing is shipped in the repositories.

A lot of projects don't have 32-bit CI, so this may raise FTBFS (10 in
F40 Mass Rebuild)

Add for all extension packages:

'''ExcludeArch: %{ix86}'''

== Benefit to Fedora ==
Save developer and builder time.

== Scope ==

* Release engineering:[https://pagure.io/releng/issues #Releng issue number]

== Upgrade/compatibility impact ==
