Hey foiks,
here's some updates regarding migration to Facebook XMPP for the ones
who don't follow #adium-devl or Adium Trac closely:
- Contributor William Bowling (wbowling) has hacked up a new XMPP
Facebook account type based on the GoogleTalk one: http://bitbucket.org/wbowling/adium
.
- There's a script from contributor Moses Lei (mlei, paradoxmo) "to
convert old Facebook logs to XMPP Facebook logs" in ticket #13999.
We need to figure out how we want the migration to work:
- Do we want the migration to be automatic?
- Do we want to remove the old implementation based on the plugin
entirely or should we keep and rename it?
