Hi all There's an annoying problem with group contacts from imgroups.net that whenever a user gets a message from the group, it is not possible to know who's written the message. This is due to libpurple not "reading" or correctly parsing the P4-Context header in the message, as the original person sending the message, as decribed here http://www.hypothetic.org/docs/msn/research/msnc1.php.
There's already an open ticket (http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/3319) for pidgin for about 4 years, but it seems that no one from there is willing to solve this, as this might not be top priority for them. What I was trying to understand was that if there's something that can be done on the Adium side to correctly display the original sender in the GUI. Hope to hear some opinions from you..
