Hi Lars, I am studying Kannel 1.1.5, especial on SMPP processing. I saw that there is somethings about the way of processing tranceive pdu should be discuss. The technics used in kannel is buffering input/output data. However, to veryfy the connection to SMSC, you send a enquire_link request to SMSC befor sending a pdu. By that you use I/O buffering (both to enquire link), kannel will not get enquiry link respond on time. So, sending enquiry link will lost it's goal (checking the link at the moment before sending a pdu). Addition, by using routing technics, the router will choose a specific path (SMSC) to send msg.
