It worked for me, so:
1. Could it be that your smsc doesn't accept the setting of DCS field (or
XSER field) ? Can you send a text message with mclass=1 (flash sms?). or a
unicode message (text=%00%33%00%34&coding=3) ?
2. It's strange why you send a to with "0033672085196" and in one case (the
NACK), it returned 0033xxx and in ACK case returned only 33xxx without the
first "00"; From's are different. But I don't see any error in these two
fields.
I can remove the 8bit DCS redundancy if required, but again I think it
shouldn't be an error.

Subject: Problem with the last CVS version when sending ringtone with emi2
(Xser incorrect ?)
Hi,
I am using the last CVS version with emi2 and I found that there is a
problem with it :
http://localhost:13013/cgi-bin/sendsms?username=blabla&password=foo&to=06123
456&udh=%06%05%04%15%81%00%00&text=%02%4A%3A%51%D1%95%CD%D0%04%00%1B%20%55%0
5%90%61%05%60%55%85%50%54%85%40%82%08%49%90%00%00
When sending with the last emi2 CVS version, I got NACK :
2001-09-14 11:47:05 [7] DEBUG: emi2 sending packet:
<12/00172/O/51/0033672085196/0D46761D5F9FCB00/////////////////4/0240/024A3A5

When sending with a previous emi2 CVS version, it works (I received the
ringtone) :
2001-09-14 11:46:00 [7] DEBUG: emi2 sending packet:
<02/00164/O/51/0033672085196/0B46761D5F9F03/////////////////4/0240/024A3A51D

The difference between the 2 emi2 implentation for O/51 paquet seems to come
from the Xser field : 010706050415810000 in one case and
010706050415810000020104 in the other. It should specify the UDH value in
Xser format (010706050415810000) and the last part, 020104, indicates the
GSM DCS information.
Any idea about that problem ? Thanks in advance for your help.
Gildas.
