Hi. I just set up the current CVS kannel with a falcom A2d1 gsm modem,
and it seems to work nicely. However, by accident I noticed what seems to
be a memory overrun bug, when the sms-service can't get in touch with the
HTTP server it expects.
Below, a part of smsbox.log. At the first receipt, kannel
fails to connect to the sms-service (which is OK, considering the
server is not there...)
The next time it gets a request, there is a 'start marker was damaged',
and it dies.
Of course, this is not a problem whenever servers are there,
as they should be, but it seems like something is not properly handled
in the special case.
