Hey all, my kannel version is based on 1.1.4.
When trying to send binary SMS (e.g. ringtones) from an EMI2 group, I find myself sending invalid packages like this: (carriage returns added for readability) ========== 2001-10-05 12:59:04 [12] DEBUG: boxc_receiver: sms received 2001-10-05 12:59:04 [6] DEBUG: emi2 sending packet: <^B02/00197/O/51/3486431573/9232///////// ////////4/ 440/024A3A4004004498E30D30D30C22C22C26C26C30D30D30C36C36C511611624C34C34C308 ----------^ B08B09B09B0C34C34C30DB0DB144584D890000////1//////010706050415810000///2B^C> 2001-10-05 12:59:04 [6] DEBUG: Got packet from the main socket 2001-10-05 12:59:04 [6] DEBUG: emi2 parsing packet: <^B02/00035/R/51/N/02/ Syntax error/FC^C> 2001-10-05 12:59:04 [6] ERROR: Got negative ack. op:51, trn:2, error:2 (Syntax error), message: Syntax error 2001-10-05 12:59:04 [6] INFO: emi2_receive: packet dump: <^B02/00035/R/51/N/02/ Syntax error/FC^C> ============ Yes, that is a SPACE %20 you see in the indicated position, where there should be a length count. Definitely not part of the IA5 encoding. The question is: is this a known bug in 1.1.4, should I be upgrading? Or should I hunt this bugger down myself and fix it for everyone else? Thanks in advance, Steve
