There is also the situation of proprietory SMSC interfaces. One of the SMSCs we connect to handles split text messages just fine. But they have special commands for sending ringtones etc, here we cannot split, as they add the UDH etc. So I need to disable splitting for this SMSC, but wont know which SMSC is going to be used at the SMSbox level. nisan
