Hi...

i've encountered this problem while trying to send SMS using EMI (emi2), i don't know 
which area i need to discuss with my SMSC provider

Did you try the emi2 driver of the development option ? It is better than

emi_ip driver and I am sure, that one use UCP-60 paquets for

authentification before sending UCP-51 paquets for sending SMS.

i'm using the fresh kannel from cvs, so i'm not sure UCP-60 and UCP-51 plays here.



using the following config



group = smsc

smsc = emi2

host = 192.168.100.88

port = 3306

smsc-password = password

receive-port = 3406

idle-timeout = 30



i hope someone could point me out which area i need to concentrate 

fyi, i managed to send out sms using the same environment before my SMSC provider did 
something on the password, if this is their fault, which area i need to advice them :)
