- get the source out of the CVS as described in Kannel's site.
- cd to the gateway directory
- ./configure --help
read the output and figure out the switches you want to use ( I
personally do : ./configure --prefix=$HOME/local/kannel
--with-malloc=slow --enable-pam --enable-localtime --with-mysql=/usr
--enable-mysql-dlr --disable-docs)
- run ./configure with the switches you need
- make
- make install

and then run it :-)
