At least I can state some numbers Aarno passed us from load-testing: max. SMS using test_cimd2 350 msg/sec. unsing HTTPS interface, 1300 msg/sec. *without* HTTPS interface. > How much WAP Users can be use Kannel per second? > (I know it depends on Hardware) ? (Only a average) I did some testing here on "normal" hardware and the numbers were 100 req/sec. and higher. Basicly it's difficult to generate the load here. > Has anybody used Kannel behind some loadbalancer? Not directly, we use a clustered version that spreads the load to the single boxes. > In a cluster environment, perhaps? yep. > I need a fast answer. I must make a proposition today regarding Kannel > scalability. Sorry for the effort :-) Hope that helps. BTW, Kannel is programmed using POSIX threads, so it's blaising speed. Think of MySQL as a very fast SQL Server. Kannel may be compared to that, IMO.
