Hi list. Wanted to ask about the unified-prefix option in the conf. as I understood from the documentation, it maps both the sender id while receiving and the receiver id while sending. from looking at the code (of normalize_number() which is nicely obscured - if you want to impress your peers with how vaugely meaningles C code can be and still work - show them that function), it appears that it does the same transformation to both. I was under the impression that I can use this scheme to do the same conversion to both situations (MO and MT), but in reverse to one anoter : so, for example, a national number will be mapped to international on receipt, and from international to national on sending back to the SMSC (for SMSCs that only accpet national numbers and applications that only accept international numbers).
How can this behaviour be acheived using the current implemenation ? how about cleaning it a bit ? how about rewriting it for doing reverse transformations where apropriate ? how about me doing it ?
