Per Stipe's request, here's the AT2 patch again, properly formatted (I hope). there are some just a bit too long lines that I left as is because me thinks truncating them would do more harm to readability then good. I'm not clear on one thing, though - why does the coding style dictates TAB size of 8 chars, and then forgo the use of tabs at all ? wouldn't saying "indent size is 4 chars" be enough ?
idents are 4, tabs are 8. This is probably because editors like
vi have a default of 8 but you really wana have 4 to write the code.
So you use "soft tabs" which make you edit like you have
tabs at 4 but save it like tabs are at 8.
Personally I would prefer to have tabstops at 4 and idents at 4.
Would make life much easier in any editor I guess. My editor (BBEdit)
doesnt have virtual tabstops so I have to do it manually and I hate
it.
Would it be too keen to decide to change that rule?
