Kannel handles splitting of long messages with UDH if you properly configure it. 'max-messages' parameter will do that, look at archive or documentation how to do that correctly.

have u tried breaking the data into separate messages with the the appropriate udh and send with separate calls? i'm not sure if kannel handles segmentation of messages with headers.... u can look at the logs to see what is actually sent...

Dear Developer,

 

We are using Kannel 1.2.0 for sending Picture Message. Here is the command:

http://2.84.1.194:13013/cgi-bin/sendsms?username=user&password=password&to=3128079&from=40002&udh=%06%05%04%15%8A%00%00&text=%00%48%1c%01%00...

 

We only receive error message "Message cannot be displayed here". Then we tried to change the command using:

 

http://2.84.1.194:13013/cgi-bin/sendsms?username=user&password=password&to=3128079&from=40002&udh=%06%05%04%15%8A%15%8A&text=%00%48%1c%01%00...

 

but the result is still the same. We managed to send group graphics, ringtones, operator logo but not Picture Message. Is there any other information left out.
