Yep, the T68i is pretty bad in AT mode. The only
way I've had one working here successfully is using it in sim-buffering
mode.

This is an error coming from the T68i. As far as I heard the
T68i is really crap when being used on the AT interface. I personally never
tried but you're better off with other types like the Siemens TC35 or some
other GSM Modems. Most phones, used have some trouble when it comes to higher
throughput or sending/receiving at the same time.
