Is it ok to have multiple smsc groups?

I've got :

group = smsc
smsc-id = orangeshort
smsc = smpp
host = xxxxxxxxxx
port = 8000
receive-port = 8000
smsc-username = "xxxxx"
smsc-password = xxxxx
system-type = "SMPP"
dest-addr-ton = 1
dest-addr-npi = 1
source-addr-ton = 3
source-addr-npi = 1

group = smsc
smsc-id = orangelong
smsc = smpp
host = xxxxxxxxxx
port = 8000
receive-port = 8000
smsc-username = "xxxxx"
smsc-password = xxxxx
system-type = "SMPP"
dest-addr-ton = 1
dest-addr-npi = 1
source-addr-ton = 1
source-addr-npi = 1

If I try and set both of these to run concurrently, I get a failure on one of
the SMSC connections.
