ahh, ok it was the binary package. I thought of you were compiling on
your own.

Kannel is only C. There are some contributed things in the contrib/
directory that use different languages, but consider contrib/ *not*
part of Kannel.

Ok, when you send a message (MT) to a device using the sendsms HTTP
interface you specify via 'dlrurl' which URL Kannel should lookup when
he receives the delivery report. Which means, this is the mechanism to
"inform" your external entities that the messages they issued has
arrived.
