My experience is that some operators indicate this through either additional proprietary SMPP error codes or through overloading existing ones. I would hazard a guess that not many operators will expose an interface allowing you to query NP status. I think they are more likely to indicate NP through in-protocol (eg. SMPP, MM7 etc) errors. Just MHO of course. Does anyone know of any operator or 3rd party that provides NP status as a service ?
